Terms of use

1. Purpose and scope

The PassInterview website (passinterview.app, the "Website") provides bilingual (Vietnamese – English) IT interview learning and practice services.

• Content is for learning reference only and does not constitute career, legal, or financial advice.
• Users should verify content against their organization’s and project’s context before applying it.

2. Content and intellectual property

All content on the Website — questions, answers, sample code, images, logo, and interface — is protected under Vietnamese intellectual property law and applicable international treaties.

• Users are granted a personal, non-commercial license to use the content for learning and practice.
• Bulk copying, retranslation, automated scraping, or reselling of content is prohibited. Use for courses, workshops, or commercial purposes requires written agreement.
• By posting content (posts, reviews, comments), you allow the Website to store and display it. The Website may remove inappropriate content; authors are responsible for what they post.

3. Accounts and payments

Some content and features require sign-in or an active Pro plan. Sign-in is via Google or GitHub (OAuth); the Website does not store passwords.

• Users are responsible for the security of their account and all activity that occurs through it.
• Pro payments are processed by bank transfer through a payment gateway. Once the transaction is confirmed, Pro is activated automatically, typically within minutes.
• The Pro Monthly plan is valid for 30 days from activation and does not auto-renew. The Lifetime plan is valid for as long as the service continues to operate.

4. Refund policy

Because the digital product is consumable immediately after payment, the refund policy is limited as follows:

• 100% refund if a technical issue on the Website prevents Pro activation within 24 hours of a successful payment.
• 100% refund for mistaken transfers, duplicate orders, or payments not made by the user — requested within 7 days of the transaction.
• Outside the two cases above, an activated Pro plan (Monthly or Lifetime) is non-refundable.
• Refund requests are sent to nguyendangdinh47@gmail.com with the order ID. Responses within 7 business days; refund via bank transfer within 14 business days after confirmation.

5. Prohibited conduct

When using the Website, users may not engage in the following conduct:

• Violate Vietnamese law, or threaten national security or public order.
• Attack, probe for vulnerabilities, overload, or disrupt the Website and its payment system.
• Use bots, crawlers, scrapers, or automated tools to access or extract content beyond the provided features.
• Forge transactions, exploit bugs to obtain Pro, or share, sell, or transfer accounts.
• Post offensive content, spam, or unauthorized advertising in posts, reviews, and comments.

6. Personal data

The collection, use, and protection of personal data are described in the Website’s Privacy Policy.

• Bookmarks, learning progress, and avatar are used to sync the user experience across devices.
• The Website sends in-app notifications about orders, Pro plans, learning activity, community interactions, and new features. Browser push notifications only work if you opt in, and can be turned off anytime on the Account page.
• Personal data is not sold or shared with third parties beyond essential service providers. Users may request account deletion at any time.

7. AI features

The Website provides an AI assistant (Cú), CV analysis, AI mock interviews, and an automated post moderation step.

• AI-generated content may be inaccurate or lack context. It is practice material, not a formal skills assessment or career advice.
• Do not enter confidential information, other people’s personal data, or your employer’s internal material into the AI features (see the Privacy Policy).
• AI features have usage limits and may change. Posts, reviews, and comments may be removed or held by automated moderation — get in touch if you believe content was handled incorrectly.

8. Advertising and third parties

The Website partners with Google AdSense to display ads to Free plan users. Pro users do not see ads.

• The Website does not control ad content or third-party landing pages. Transactions between users and advertisers are independent of the Website.
• Links to external sites (technical docs, GitHub, etc.) are provided for reference; the Website is not responsible for their accuracy or availability.

9. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.

• The Website does not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or absolutely secure. Maintenance or outages from infrastructure providers may occur.
• To the extent permitted by law, total financial liability to the user for all claims related to the service does not exceed the amount paid for Pro in the last 12 months, or VND 500,000 if no payment has been made.

10. Governing law and dispute resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam. Disputes shall first be resolved through good-faith negotiation by email within 30 days. If no agreement is reached, disputes shall be submitted to the competent People’s Court in Vietnam.

11. Updates to these Terms

These Terms may be updated when the service changes or as required by law.

• The latest version is always posted on this page with an effective date.
• Material changes (affecting financial or data rights) will be announced at least 15 days in advance. Continued use of the service after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
